What a topper is
A piece covering only the area that needs it — the parting, the crown, the front — resting on the hair you already have. It is not a wig: it does not cover the whole head, it comes off daily if you want, and the rest of your hair stays yours.
How we choose the base
We measure the area without density and let the base extend slightly past it all around, so the edge hides under your own hair. From there the shape decides: elongated if the thinning follows the parting, rounded if it sits on the crown.

Clips, adhesive or both
Clips attach to your own hair and let you put it on and take it off yourself, every day. Adhesive holds longer and shows less at the edge, but asks for reviews. Most of our bases take either, and it does not have to be decided on day one.
Colour, density and cut
A well-chosen base is ruined by a flat colour or too much density. We take the tone against your own hair, with your percentage of grey, and cut the piece once it is on, so the movement is continuous between your hair and the added hair.

01Will people notice a topper?
Measured and cut properly, no. What gives a piece away is almost never the base: it is a flat colour, more density than your own, or a cut done off the head. That is why we always cut with the piece in place.
02Can I put it on myself?
Yes, if we choose clips. We teach you in front of the mirror before you leave, and the first few times usually take a couple of minutes.
03Can I wash my hair with it on?
It depends on the attachment. With clips it comes off to wash; with adhesive it can stay on for the period we agree. We explain it for the base you choose.
04Can it be coloured or heat-styled?
Human hair takes heat and colour, but with less margin than yours because it does not regenerate. We prefer to adjust the tone ourselves and avoid bleaching.
05Does it work for frontal fibrosing alopecia?
There is a specific design that rebuilds the frontal line and follows the sideburn area. It is an aesthetic solution: diagnosis and treatment belong to your dermatologist.
06How long does it last?
It depends on the base, the hair, the use and the maintenance. We give you an honest estimate once we know which piece is yours, not before.
